Hello, This is my first year at Anime Midwest. I live in Michigan. I have a table in the Artist Alley with a friend of mine. We are staying at the hotel and are so psyched to be here! How was your first time to Anime Midwest? How was it compared to this year?

Hey, I'm new to buying tickets online, and since today was the first day of Anime Midwest, July 5 2013, I was wondering like, do we get the tickets at the door? Or do we have to go to the door to get them since you got 2000 more tickets?

I'm not much of an otaku either and I have never encountered any problems because of that, so don't worry xD. I actually only have one anime that I really like (Kuroshitsuji), otherwise I am watching more mainstream live-action TV shows, but I still love going to anime conventions because the people at these things are always so welcoming and awesome. I don't know any convention regulars here either, so I hope to make some friends or at least make some cosplay connections. I'll keep an eye out for you though! I'll be the short asian Jack Sparrow lol (as much as I hate describing myself that way, that's mainly what people see, so :P )

(●´∀｀●)ah gosh, thank you!! I'm more stubborn than patient, once I get going with the projects I feel like I have to finish it even if it's not turning out too great. I have two friends who make really detailed costumes who are perfectionists with lots of patience. My stuff is kind of sloppy. You mean my ideas?? Usually from what I see or an alteration of something I hear/see due to imagination. My family has a knack for making odd and wacky things. That sentence is kind of funny and sad because there's a character named cliffjumper in something I'm watching and he died.

Oh my was this for this years convention? We just drove up from Cleveland TN so I reallly hope I didn't see this literally less than 24 hours late....(so yes this is a con at least some people are traveling for)also, no gas wasn't nearly that much, we only had to fill up once on the way (after leaving with a full tank). We spent $90 total. Much cheaper than flying...

Hello, I'm looking for 2-3 roommates for this year's convention. Mostly using the room to store stuff while at the convention, if a party is wanted, we can discuss that at the convention. I'm 27/m.
