So it is possible for me to take the train from Kenosha WI, to Chicago, and then make a connection to Rosemont? If so, that would be great! Then I wouldn't have to drive But if I do have to drive, how much is valet parking at the Hyatt? And can I use that service if I will only be there for the day?

anyone? im being taokaka and babydoll :3

Friday - Izaya Orihara [Durarara!] Saturday - The Onceler/Greedler [The Lorax] Sunday - Izaya Orihara [Durarara!] (:

It's linked to from the events page, scroll to the cosplay section. Signups are at the con, and first-come first-serve (no reservations).

I was thinking... why not start a rookie forum? I'm really new here and I could use specific information about sharing rooms, transportation to and from the convention and being a staff member. Or... is there a forum for that? >: D -Koalaty

I'm wondering if anyone else is going as some sort of sentai, kamen rider or power rangers cosplay. I know there's going to be two panels this year. (which is awesome). So maybe if there's enough people interested / cosplaying we could do some sort of mini meet up for photos and that sort of thing? I'm planning on going as Luka from Gokaiger all three days.

Any other Jack Sparrows or POTC impersonators/cosplayers attending Anime Midwest this year? If so.. we should organize a photoshoot/meetup.

Sounds like you are planning to handle this responsibly and respectfully. I would say to just use it for the costume competition or any photoshoots you plan on attending, and then not use it when you are generally wandering around the con. Carry a reference pic with you too so that you can show what the character looks like and that the wheelchair is actually just a prop.

There was an awesome turn out from this fandom at ACen last month. Are there any Dangans planning on going to Midwest? I'll be going as Naegi from the original game.

Is there for sure an Ask Panel? I will be either 2P!Nyo America,Nyo South Italy,or Liechtenstein. But If there isn't,Let me know,I don't want to show up for something that isn't going to happen.

Regarding the room, currently we have five people for the room, my wife and myself and three other people. I don't want more that six people in the room since I don't want it to be too crowded. So the next person who can commit to sharing the room will be the last I can accept. Let me know about that asap. As far as letting you use a corner of one of our tables, that might violate a term of the dealer contract that says we can't "sublet" our space. But it should be possible to accept merchandise for sale on consignment from another business since that's not the same thing. Before agreeing to that though, what did you want to sell?

would anyone be interested in trades? I am in need of cosplay stuff and I would like to get stuff together by anime midwest. How does this work? Let's say I ask for a wig that is worth 18 dollars. You can ask for art in return, worth the same value as the item I'm seeking. You are free to choose any combination of sketches, linearts, and full pieces if it is worth the same as the item I seek. Simple, no? So...I am really willing to do this so if anyone is interested, give me a holler! For you homestucks out there, I am offering custom scalemates to trade as well! Where to find and contact me: DeviantArt: Tonantzyn e-mail: LittleArtista13@yahoo.com skype: chrono_3 (please tell me who you are and what you need from me, otherwise I will ignore your contact request) Please no flooding! I am currently looking to obtain this long, ORANGE wig for my Midna cosplay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Free-ship-32Inches-16-Colors-New-Fashion-Long-Straight-Cosplay-Party-Wig-80cm-/161028848586?pt=US_CSA_MWA_Wigs_Extensions&var=460174596690&hash=item257e113bca
