Gonna be casual Handsome Jack, anybody else doing borderlands stuff? (also looking for cosplayers for a borderlands ask panel but that's a different topic)

Hey! I'll be cosplaying Handsome Jack and curious if anybody would be interested in doing an ask panel. I made a post on tumblr about it as well. http://mynameishabit.tumblr.com/post/160018382617/anime-midwest-borderlands-panel
Sharing a room?

Hello! I was wondering if I could share a room with anyone here for Midwest 2017? I am not a dangerous person, fairly neat, and I just want a little room to stay for all 3 days! It doesn't have to be much room, but driving there every morning/going back can be a hassle. I will pay for my share, and just to have a fun time there. If interested, please PM me, and we can discuss more there! Thanks :)

I myself usually like sub actors, but Erica is one of the few, if not the only english dub actor I love, she has voiced my personal favorite character Ryuuko Matoi and other cool characters like Gon from HunterxHunter, Kagari Atsuko from Little Witch Acedemia, Yazawa Niko from Love Live! Aladdin from the Magi series and many other amazing series! Plus she was BORN in Chicago, she could meet her fans and be nostalgic! Ive just always wanted to meet her and Im sure many other people want to too!

This is my first convention out of my state and probably without friends. I was hoping someone could tell me the in-and-outs of what I need for it and if anyone would be up for hanging out IRL.

I will be running a Haikyu Q&A panel at Anime Midwest 2017! We will be answering audience questions, truth/dares and speed dating! Maybe even play some volleyball! The panel is PG-13 so ages 13+ can apply to be a panelist! The panel will be anime cast only (no manga only characters) and no gender-bended characters (sorry). Official uniforms are preferred but definitely not required! I would like the group to look put together. Currently we have a Hinata, Kageyama, Nishinoya, Suga, Tsukki, Kiyoko, Yamaguchi, Kenma and Kuroo!!! We would like to have as many Karasuno members as possible, as well as other Nekoma, Aobajosai, Fukurodani and Shiratorizawa members! But you can apply to be any character you’d like!! If you would like to become a panelist for this Q&A, send your answers to the following questions to zcosplayinc@gmail.com Name: Facebook/Skype (or other method of contact you check regularly): Age (as of July-7-2017): Character: Attached photo of your cosplay. *If I have multiple applications for the same character, I will have each person either Skype with me OR send a video to me of them answering questions AS their character. If you have any questions, please comment below or email zcosplayinc@gmail.com

Panel: Masque of the Red Death Saturday: 11:00 pm - 12:30 am I wanted to share some information about a panel event I am hosting at Anime Midwest called 'Masque of the Red Death.' This is a social elimination game for 10 to 30 players and based off the Edgar Allan Poe short story of the same name. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1wYahdvkxo I've ran this game at GenCon and Origins last year and it went over very well. There are a lot of rules, but they are mostly intuitive and players pick up on the basics within a few minutes. Given the 90 minutes we have for the panel, we probably have time for two games. The premise: Players are guests at Prince Prospero's lavish masquerade. But some players serve the Red Death and are trying to eliminate as many other playeras as possible by getting them cast out of the party or simply killing them. The other team is attempting to cast the Red Death out of the party before everyone succumbs to the plague. In addition to these team goals, each player has an individual goal to achieve and a variety of powers and abilities to assist them. For example, they may have a vendetta against another character or are searching for a certain treasure. What is unique about Masque of the Red Death is that players are never fully eliminated from the game, they may simply obtain a status that limits them. Frozen in place by a spell? That's only temporary. Cast out of the party? You can possibly bribe your way back in. Dead? Perhaps a necromancer can make you 'undead'. You can see a list of character roles on my website (http://www.experimentalgamer.com/masque-red-death/) and reserve on in advance if you like. Just DM me your choice and keep it a secret.

My first time going as well. Also going to be by myself, wanted to cosplay to make it less awkward by myself but probably not going to get that done in time. I hope I meet some fun people there too.
