I debuted my fem Aku at ACEN this month and I was disappointed not to find any Jacks to take photos with... anyone out there going to be in Jack attire (or any other characters)

Hey guys I hope you're excited as I am this year! I was curious if anyone else was doing something obscure? I'm going as Angel from Rock and Rule all three days more than likely. That is if I find time to throw a Jacket from Hotline Miami together as well.

Having a powerpoint is good (but make sure you're not just reading off it) but also I would just google it to find better ideas. It also seems to be less stressful if you have a partner to help :)(or several).

Hey everyone. Since I'm planning to build a new cosplay to do a beta test for a future con, I was wondering if anyone wants to do a build together. That way we all can hang out and also help each other.

Hi! Congrats on first con! It's a fun experience and really tempting to just go to a bunch of panel but i'd say for your first con pick about 3-6 panels that you really wanna go to and leave plenty of time for times like artist alley, photoshoot, and just plain walking around and meeting people. I actually started going to cons when i was 13 and i'm going to be 15 in a couple days and this con will be my 3rd con. i went to it last year and it was awesome. leaving time for my cousin and i to just walk around was awesome! so i really recommend. as for panel, i don't know, let's start with what you are interested in. like this con has a ton of panels for everybody. and when the photoshoot schedule comes out try to find sword art and go to that one. hmm idk what else i can give but if you have questions just ask. i hope you have a wonderful time and have fun with your group! p.s. my friend likes that show alot so i'll try to take a pic of you guys to show him. hehehe p.s.s i'll be cosplaying as love ward kagamine rin friday and female captain america on saturday.

Hello everyone! My name is Cassie and I'm excited but nervous for this convention (I'm a freshman in highschool and I'll be 15 when this convention rolls around. When did you start going to Anime Midwest? How did you hear about the convention? - This will be my 2nd time going to this con. I've attended anime midwest in 2013 and i attended anime world chicago in 2012, both at the hotel it takes place in. I heard about anime midwest on tumblr and my cousin brought it up in 2012 around december. So one day my older cousin said, "hey let's go to Anime midwest" and I got super excited and now we are here. :)/> Have you cosplayed? If so, what cosplays have you done? - I have cosplayed before. I've done Rose Lalonde (default) from homestuck, Finn the human, matryoshka Kagamine Rin, and a horrible Fem!karkat (my first ever cosplay). I'll be cosplaying this year too! (cosplays in my about page) Whereare you from? - I live about an hour from chicago. What are some of your favorite Anime or Mangas? - What are you watching/reading right now? Favorite Animes are princess jellyfish and tokyo mew mew (mew mew was my 2nd ever anime!).
