Haikyuu!! Cosplay + Meetup?

Hello! Is anyone planning on cosplaying Haikyuu!! this year? My friend and I are going as Hitoka and Kiyoko! We would love to hang out with fellow HQ!! fans and take photos. This is our first time at the con, so we don't know what the common meetup spots are, but if anyone is willing to help us out, that would be great!

Don't know if my friends and I will cosplay haikyuu on Friday or Sunday ;;
what would be the best time to cosplay them and meet up?

If you need any help, you can send me a message and we can discuss it on skype or email if that's okay. I attended the con last year and a couple of friends and I are planning to fool around with a volleyball. So we're gonna meet up and find a space where it'll be spacious, where it won't be hot, and where we won't hurt anyone or cause any disruption.

leromun: I'm not sure when the best time would be. My friend and I had actually been planning to cosplay HQ!! on Saturday, but we're flexible. It seems like Sunday might be best? Perhaps in the morning or evening, when the con is a little less busy. I will send you an email! My email address is exactly the same as my username here.

I just talked over to my friends and they said that Saturday would be the day to meetup for them since the schedule pretty much messed up their lineups.

We'll have at least 3 kings (Hinata, Kageyama, Oikawa), Sugamama, Kenma, Iwa

it seems Saturday and Sunday are the days everyone will most likely be cosplaying HQ. a group of my friends are planning to meetup on Sunday

Just got another update from my friends:

we'll probably cosplay Haikyuu on Saturday and Sunday. They want to do an evening shoot and small game on Saturday since there would be less people where we would want to do shoots and volley.
We might cosplay Haikyuu again Sunday morning since some of us don't have any other plans for that day.

We could probably meet up on Sunday too, but we won't have all of our friends doing it as we had planned for Saturday.

Hm...well it seems like we're a bit stuck between Saturday and Sunday. Personally, I vote for Saturday because I think there is more potential for people to be in HQ!! cosplay (if we were to create some sort of unofficial event on tumblr and/or facebook). Sundays tend to be more lax with cosplay, in my opinion. The other issue we have is location, however. Even if we settle on a day/time, where would we be able to meet? I think it would be nice to meet at an outdoor location, personally.

Perhaps we should create a Facebook event and then let people who (hopefully) join it decide on the exact time? I think we should at least have a day set beforehand, however.

As for location, I used Acen's 2015 map as reference since they're the same location.(https://guidebook.com/guide/25835/map/41680/)

I suggest we use cosplay gathering 7(outside of the Expoteria Restaurant), or cosplay gathering 2. Both locations are located outside. Our HQ!! group for Acen used cosplay gathering 2 and we were able to throw volleyballs around without disturbing others.
