Speed dating?

Hi,
I was wondering how does the speed dating works? I hope it's 18+ because the schedule doesn't state it. Does a person require to be in cosplay to participate? Last do I have to signup for it?

Speed Dating is more of to make new friends, or a boyfriend/girlfriend, depending on how much you enjoy the other person.

The panel is not 18+. I'm the host and I'm not 18 yet, which means I wouldn't be allowed in my own panel. It's more 13+, but not a lot of people under the age of 16 show up.

You can be dressed however you like. Cosplays aren't required. Sometimes, they make conversation a bit more interesting, but they're not required.

You don't have to sign up. All you have to do is show up and we'll make sure you're incorporated somehow.

One more question. Since this panel is not 18+ will this panel be organized between different age groups? With me being a little over 21+ I would feel a little uncomfortable to chat with someone far younger than 18.

Hm, that is actually a very good question.

I will have to discuss that issue with my co-host, but we will probably do that.

Honestly, I don't expect anyone under 18 to show up (as they didn't the last time I hosted a panel similar), but, just in case, I will discuss organizing that.

Is speed dating all weekend? And thanks! If most of the participants are under 18 then people like me (19+) couldn't really participate right?

koalatytime - No, it's just on Saturday. And you can participate if you would like; I really don't expect anyone under 18 to show up (with myself being the exception, but I'm going to be running the timer and announcing switches), but, if they do, they will probably have their own section for their age group or with people who don't mind talking to people of that age, if that makes any sense at all. Most of the people I've had come to Speed Date ended up being at least twenty or so.
