I've been to conventions before, but I never went to this one before. I'm excited. Last convention I went to was Anime Central. I cosplayed as Gamzee. I gained some friends by cosplaying Homestuck and I hope to gain friends here as well! I might just cosplay Gamzee again, but add some twists to it. You will definitely make more friends at this con. There probably will be a large Homestuck meetup which should be a lot of fun Welcome to the forums!

Same here, first time at anime midwest, last con I went to was anime central as well. I'd be happy to be your friend! I'll be dressed wearing a captain hat and muscular arms on my shoes.
