About Anime Midwest 2025
Anime Midwest 2025 is a family-friendly anime convention in Rosemont, Illinois. This three-day event focuses on video gaming, Japanese anime, Japanese manga, and bringing authentic Japanese culture and anime to life.
Anime Midwest is just outside of Chicago and easily accessible by the Blue Line! It's easy to get to our event from anywhere in the Midwest.

As for tips, I would just say to be yourself, have fun, and don't be afraid to talk to other cosplayers. Most everyone at these events is really friendly and you will probably end this convention with a bunch of Facebook contacts and Tumblr or Deviantart links. Keep in touch with people you meet at cons, you can make some great friends through this community.
Most important tips I can give you: plan a bit but try to be spontaneous, make sure to eat and drink properly, jot down panels that catch your interest throughout the day since you can use them as break time from walking so much, talk to many, ask questions, and explore!
Also, since you're going together keep in mind that if you get lost and try to call or text each other it might be difficult to hear your phone going off.
My plan is to meet many cosplayers and fangirl on pretty much everyone I see. See yall very soon!
