I am not new to cosplaying, but I am new to this convention so I am pretty excited for this as well welcome to the convention world! xD As for tips, I would just say to be yourself, have fun, and don't be afraid to talk to other cosplayers. Most everyone at these events is really friendly and you will probably end this convention with a bunch of Facebook contacts and Tumblr or Deviantart links. Keep in touch with people you meet at cons, you can make some great friends through this community.

Ahh it would be lovely to get a picture with you too! Most important tips I can give you: plan a bit but try to be spontaneous, make sure to eat and drink properly, jot down panels that catch your interest throughout the day since you can use them as break time from walking so much, talk to many, ask questions, and explore! Also, since you're going together keep in mind that if you get lost and try to call or text each other it might be difficult to hear your phone going off.

These are all fantastic tips! Thank you everyone! We are rather excited to say the least! Counting down the says, hours, minutes....well, maybe not minutes but you get the idea (: My plan is to meet many cosplayers and fangirl on pretty much everyone I see. See yall very soon!

Ahhh I ache for the con too. It's going to be a really good one and there's bound to be some rather interesting cosplays it seems. Lots of nice people too!
