I know the con starts at noon Friday, but when does registration start on Friday? Acen registration was an hour or two before the con started. I can't find anywhere in the schedule or the program about the registration start time. If registration is at 12, lines could be long and I'd miss the opening ceremony which is at 12.

No need for a room, just driving down on Friday, not sure when to leave or arrive and what not. Definitely would like to beat the crowd for the registration line. I have already purchased one day passes.

Soooo why is there no difference for whether I pre-registered or not once I'm actually AT registration? It doesn't seem to do me any favors, buying my badge ahead of time, when no one splits the lines up. Looks like many of us will miss most (if not all) of the Friday events.
