I've been to ACEN once but it was with a bunch of friends, so I've decided to go to Anime Midwest since I had so much fun but I've been unable to convince my pals to go with lol.

Any other solo people going?

I'm not an anime expert by any means but I do enjoy some. I'm not really a shy guy but it can be a little awkward walking into the party alone ya know? Anyone interested (solo / group / titans / etc) in just breaking the ice and meeting up? :)

I'd be glad to meet up with new people, I probably will be with one other person though if that's okay. Though, I'll be in cosplay.

That's definitely okay! I'll be in an attempt at cosplay (Lee Everett) since I'm not that great with eva foam and whatnot yet (Plan to do a mass effect cosplay some day).
