Good idea! From my experience it's been both ways. Some people are all dressed for it when at the date auction and others just dress up after being sold off (:
Either way, have fun! I won't be needing to be auctioned off as I have a rather handsome date (;

What do i do to get into the auctioning? On top of that, when you get auctioned off is it specifically for the ball?
