First, since you're on anime midwest web page, you should read the information to get a good idea of what's gonna happen and what to expect (as well as not to expect) Second, if you want to buy 'tickets' (or bages as what they are for conventions) you can buy them up-front(on the day of the event), or pre-register (buying online BEFORE the event thus, picking them up at a pick-up line along with photo ID for proof). Third, I don't know if you've done this before, but try to get some details from other people about their con experiences. Not just the good but the bad. Probably from one person who has an equal amount of a good and bad review of their con experience. You can even check press reviews about it too! Pretty much, get a lot of information you may need so you can have a great experience at conventions.

If you are going for a day or two you can buy a badge at the convention. if you want to go all weekend I suggest buying the weekend badge online. Midwest is really fun.
