As offensive as your post was, I am going to forgive your rude post and move on to welcome you to our unofficial photo shoot (:
Why? Because maybe, as a fan of Naruto, I can outreach and welcome you to come express those feelings among us you may come to realize how offensive and rude that was to say. We are a welcoming cosplay community, and the Naruto fandom has, and will continue, to show respect to others.
So please, if you would like to rant about your dislike for our fandom and choice of cosplay, come join us. I promise no conflicts, just a debate. If you are up for it that is.
Everyone else: please use her post as an example of what not to do. I look forward to meeting all of the Naruto cosplayers! I will be setting up this unofficial gatherings/ photo shoot for Saturday at Midwest. Check back here for time and more information once I post it (:

This person is very rude and probably just trolling for some apparent reasons so don't mind her, especially since Naruto is very popular and brought many friends together unlike swearing and half-assed insults/opinions.
I used to be a big fan, but as time went on, my preferences changes. Naruto had been a great inspiration for adventure and emotionally too in certain cases. People who cosplays feels more at ease when dressing up like a character they like, especially in a community that welcomes everyone even if they don't know you. It's the first welcome that's unforgettable and unlike any others they had every experienced. Through cosplay, I've met more people, I've been introduced to offers, known people, and recommendations, I've been part of putting my efforts into conventions I volunteer/staffed and I'd never been so much more happier to be in a place where welcomed arms are always open. Sure that 50% of my personal convention experience is good and bad, but overall, I feel like it's nice to go through both good and bad that balance each other out and makes the whole experience interesting.
Of course, people are simply dirty butts towards others and even to anime conventions. We just love what we love; so screw whatever/whoever's opinions it is towards something they're not interested in-no one asked for their opinions. This isn't 'Facebook', 'Tumblr', 'Twitter', or any other social medias where you can easily dipshit people or shit on what they like. This is a community that is brought together to have fun together and bonds people. This is a community that had changed people to embrace what they like. This is a community of fandoms that respects each other (with exceptions of stupid rude people of course- everything isn't perfect and that doesn't mean everyone is supposed to be perfect). This is a community that is full of plans for a better experience/expectations/preparations and doing their best to give us what they can do to give us those kinds of things. Of course, there's always something that would go wrong, but work away around that and go on.
I really do look forward to seeing the plans for the unoffical meetups and interested in other fandoms over there. Even professional journalists' words are more powerful that someone who spends their time bashing on something that they don't have an interest in and considers it 'gay'. Wow. You sure are living up to your age.

Sorry guys, I was pretty tipsy off wine yesterday... hahaha =P
However I still say Naruto sucks. Further, I am a lesbian so I'm pretty sure I know what gay is. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. =P
i do love cosplay tho. let's have a proper in-person debate when I show up to the con in my Faye Valentine attire... til then I'll just shut it. LOL!
Good to meet you guys... ciao.
PS... leromun, I'm old enough to be legal babe ;) hahaha

Five hours ago was...yesterday? I'm confused but...okay xD Everything you said makes little sense. Because you are lesbian you know what gay is and we don't? Um...okay?
Think before you post, love. Please.

To be honest (and I'm not picking fights or trying to sound mean or whatever), I don't care if you're legal, you're a lesbian, and you were tipsy. I have nothing against your age, orientation, and the fact that you had a drink, but because of the internet lack of voice, I took that as an insult. I know you have more years than me and I've yet to have those kinds of experiences, but of course, we all have different experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.
I'd like to apologize for assuming that as an insult, but I do stand by my words and I actually wished that people would have more than just short words to cover the overall stories/series. I will admit that some parts of Naruto is pretty gay but overall in the story and repetitious goals it's really well developed even throughout the years since it started. Of course, even well known series/stories have flaws just as well as any other stories. Please be mindful about your words, I'd wish not to turn anything here or anywhere hectic.
